Beer @ USD 30 cents
I stopped by this old courtyard when I saw a notice of Yanjing beer (a decent local beer) being offered at the "wholesale price" of RMB 2 yuan – roughly 30 cents in US currency – per large bottle. However, I was required to return the empty bottle or "the seller would lose money". 🙂

Marron and Coopers
Although marron does go well with Coopers Beer, I placed this bottle to show the size of the marron. This one is on the bigger side of what we usually trap in our ponds. He was actually living in a farm dam that had shallow areas. He weighed 0.58 Kg. so is worth about $18 wholesale.
